The renowned Manchester School of Art Degree Show launched its 2024 exhibition on 14 June.
The exhibition displayed the work of 1,400 final-year Art, Design, Fashion, Digital Arts, Performance and Architecture students across Benzie, Chatham, Grosvenor, Righton and SODA buildings on the Manchester Metropolitan University All Saints Campus.
The theme of this year’s Degree Show, ‘Meet the future’ tasked students with considering how issues of economic growth, sustainability, tackling inequalities and informing health will shape our living and impact future generations. Their work has then been presented through a myriad of different mediums and forms in the week-long exhibition.
The School of Digital Arts (SODA) and Modal gallery featured work from all nine of our BA and BSc courses including Animation, Digital User Experience (UX), Filmmaking, Future Media Production, Games Art, Games Design, Music & Sound Design, Web & User Experience Design, and Photography. By utilising the state-of-the-art digital facilities at SODA, the work was presented in a wide range of formats from film and photography to virtual reality experiences and immersive, multi-sensory rooms.
You can explore our student’s work and find out more about their backgrounds, processes and inspirations on the Degree Show digital showcase.
