Students from the BSc Games Design course at the School of Digital Arts (SODA) recently hosted a fundraising event, raising over £200 so far for Everyone Can, a local charity dedicated to transforming the lives of disabled people through gaming.

Led by Games Art and Games Design Tutor Alessandra Radulescu, students hosted a showcase of video game prototypes they had developed in their Co-Lab units of study.

Developed by working collaboratively with a team of peers with different perspectives, skillsets and ideas, the games on show showed off their creativity, ranging from point and click, to stealthy action-adventure, and 3D puzzle games.

Alessandra said, ‘It’s been an incredible journey seeing the students’ passion and innovation come to life for such a meaningful cause. If you’d like to support this effort, I’d be deeply grateful if you could contribute or share our donation link. Together, we can make a difference for the gaming community while celebrating creativity and inclusivity.’
